Prof. Dr. Daniel Véras Ribeiro

Civil Engineer (UFBA) with a master's degree, doctorate and post-doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering (UFSCar). He is currently Associate Professor III at the Polytechnic School of UFBA, being coordinator of the Materials Durability Testing Laboratory (LEDMa), Regional Director of IBRACON and ALCONPAT Brazil and Coordinator of CT 702 IBRACON/ALCONPAT, which deals with Durability Assessment Testing Procedures of Concrete Structures. Author of 9 books in the field and more than 100 articles in international scientific journals and 200 works in national and international congresses in the last 10 years, being recognized by Elsevier among the 2% most influential researchers in the world in 2022 and 2023.
