SERGIO YESID GOMEZ GONZALEZ
Chemical Engineer and Mechanical Engineer by Universidad de los Andes (UniAndes), Bogotá, Colombia, in 2008; MsC in Mechanical Engineering (UniAndes) in 2010; PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) in 2015, with a period (2012 and 2013) at Norges Teknisk-Naturvitenskapelige Universitet (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway; with post-doctoral experience (2015-2017) in Materials Engineering Science, Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He is currently Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, working at the Mass Transfer Laboratory and the Laboratory of Numerical Simulation of Chemical Systems (LABMASSA-LABSIN), and the Advanced Ceramics laboratory (ProCER) . He is also a collaborator of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory for the Development of Nanostructures (LINDEN). He works at the interface of Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering, with emphasis on Renewable Energies and Sustainability, Advanced Materials, Modeling and Simulation, Transport Phenomena, Processes, Functional Materials and Product Design.
