ENRIQUE RODRÍGUEZ CASTELLÓN
Enrique Rodríguez Castellón possesses over 45 years of experience in teaching and research in the fields of Inorganic and Material Chemistry, Adsorption and Catalysis in academic settings in the United States and Europe.
He graduated in Chemistry at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain), Master’s in Chemistry at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez and Doctor in Science (Chemistry) at the Universidad de Málaga (Spain) with Extraordinary Doctorate Award.
He worked at the University of Puerto Rico and Universidad de Málaga where he is Full Professor (Catedrático de Universidad) from 2002. He has published more than 633 scientific papers and 36 chapters with more than 20,000 citations with h-index 65 (Scopus) and 74 (Google Scholar). He is on the Elsevier list of 2% of the most cited scientists in the world.
His expertise in X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, Adsorption and Environmental Catalysis has been recognized worldwide with many invitations to give plenary lectures, keynotes in international congresses and advanced courses in XPS and catalysis in universities and research centers. He is president of the Inorganic Chemistry Division of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry from 2016. He is Doctor Honoris Causa of the Federal University of Ceará (Brazil).
