Claudia Bianchi holds a Master's degree in Materials Science and a PhD in Industrial Chemistry, both from the University of Milan. Claudia Bianchi is currently Full Professor at the Department of Chemistry at the University of Milan.

She is head of the Process and Plants Research Group for Industrial Chemistry at the University of Milan. Claudia Bianchi is also a recognized expert in the use of ultrasounds so as to be elected a member of the Board of the European Society of Sonochemistry since 2002.

Since 2015, she has been an LCA Specialist. In other words, she is qualified to certify the environmental impact of products and processes using the LCA method.

Author of more than 500 original research papers on International Journals in the field of applied material science and environmental catalysis and communications to national and international conferences, often as invited speaker.
