Prof. Daniel D. Athayde is a professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). He graduated in Chemical Engineering (UFMG - 2013), has a masters degree on Chemical Engineering (UFMG - 2016) and a PhD degree on Materials Engineering (UFMG - 2019), including a 1 year experience in the FIM²Lab group coordinated by Prof. Joe Diniz da Costa at The University of Queensland during his PhD. Prof. Daniel D. Athayde has research experience on development of inorganic porous materials for industrial unit operations, with a great focus on membrane separation. He also works with the design and simulation of industrial separation processes.
